A: try crepes their easier than they soundcount on two to three crepes per person.Batter:2 eggs1.25 cups milk1 cup flour.25 tsp salt2 tbsp melted butter or veg oilpour a little onto a lightly greased pan and tilt the pand to spread it around. flip when it starts to look dry and cook just a little on the other side.makes about 12 can be made in advanceFilling: 1.5 lbs of meat for 12 crepesGround or chopped beef. sautee with a little light olive oil, chili powder, salt, minced garlic, and cumin. maybe a dash of oregano. fill crepes just before serving. Plating:place 2 to 3 filled crepes side by side on the plate. top with steamed fresh asparagus. sprinkle a little of the ground beef filling over all and drizzle on oil from the meat. It's delicious, cheap, and really doesn't take long at all. Also, everyone will be impressed, so just play it up. You may want to practice making the crepes before hand just to perfect the spreading technique. You can also add minced chives to the crepe batter.

Q: is yahoo answers a place to go when you really need help with something or is it just for entertainment ,so many people comment on proper grammer, puncuation and spelling you would think we were in school top contributors exspecially sara.h really need to watch what they say to people when they use there actuall picture to make nasty comments to god knows who , you never know who your putting down or what there going through and since your so smart you use your real identity you never know if the person lives in your neighborhood. be carful these points serves no purpose so theres no need to go all out just to get themY/A was designed to be a place to go and get real help for real questions from real people, so dont say go to a pro because im simply asking a question .
A: It's an outlet for me. I like to answer questions where I think my experience might help them. And while I agree that a lot of folks on here have pretty poor grammar, most may be from another country, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. In my mind there are certain area's of my life that are personal and I will not comment on others views, one is religion. Each to their own, live and let live. While I might disagree with the philosophy, I will not answer those questions. Sex is another area that is personal. Why someone asks... well you get the picture. So if I can read and understand the question, and have some experience or knowledge about the topic and can help, I answer. Otherwise I go onto another question. My pet peeve is abbreviations!
Q: I'm supposed to write an essay with that topic. What happened to entertainment during world war two? I just don't know what my thesis or question should be relating to the topic. I had that propaganda was effectively used through entertainment and media, but it's not strong enough. Any ideas?
A: Most entertainment became geared towards the war effort - propaganda if you like. News was about the war effort; posters were about doing your part; organized sports continued - as it was considered good for the home front morale, but auto racing was banned due to gasoline rationing; movies continued to be a big part of everyday life - and many war films were made.http://www.bookrags.com/research/sports-world-war-ii-aaw-03/ http://blogs.ischool.berkeley.edu/i103su09/structure-projects-assignments/research-project/projects-and-presentations/film-as-propaganda-in-america-during-wwii/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_home_front_during_World_War_II

Q: I am planning a wedding shower in the next couple of months for my side of the family and i am having difficulty picking out unique entertainment for the party. I want to have a similar wedding to my cousin. Hers was elegant yet very relaxed. It was very fun and memorable for us all. Mine however, is gonna be a bit more elegant than hers, but i want to make it just as comfortable and fun as hers was. I want to incorporate a royal style with a relaxed environment of my family. I would like to have entertainment at me shower that reflects that style that is unlike the traditional party games and such. Any ideas?
A: Play some fun games like bridal scramble words and bingo. Oh and you must play the game where you have everyone go around the room and cut a piece of ribbon of how long they think their story of their honeymoon night is going to be and you have everyone go around the room and tell of their honeymoon and wind the ribbon around their finger as they tell it. if they arn't married tell them to tell the story of their first time, first date, first kiss whatever. haha it's a really fun game, definitely a conversation starter
Q: I would like to start an entertainment website, I would like to know the following:Is the start- up cost minimal?Does it cost a lot to maintain the site? What should I know or do before starting an entertainment websit
A: "Entertainment Web site" is such a broad term... What exactly do you want to do and how do you plan to make money off of it? Celebrity gossip and online games are both entertainment, but technology involved is very different.Anyhow, on to your questions...Is the start-up cost minimal? Define "minimal"... You will need four things: domain name, hosting, content, and content management software. Domain name can be registered for about $10/year. Cost of hosting will depend on the amount of traffic you expect to handle. Initially, you can get away with paying less than $10/month, but as your site grows (hopefully), you may need to migrate to a more robust (and more expensive) hosting solution. Content is the biggest unknown. You can produce it on your own, pay someone else to produce it, syndicate it from elsewhere, or do a combination of any or all.Content management software can be had for free if you deploy on Linux (there are plenty of stable and robust content management systems written in PHP and Python), but you will need to customize the system's visual appearance, which will probably cost you a few hundred dollars.Does it cost a lot to maintain the site? Depends on what kind of hosting you have and how much traffic you handle. At a minimum, you will have to pay the monthly hosting fee. If you generate a lot of traffic, your hosting company will charge you for over-the-limit bandwidth. What should you know or do before starting an entertainment website? Figure out the content. What it is going to be, who is going to produce it, how much it will cost, etc.
Q: All I can find is that the system will work with dvd's. If I buy one and hook it up will the surround sound work with my cable tv?? Is there something special I have to do to make it work with my cable tv. What should I look for in a home entertainment system when purchasing one.
A: You will get full functionality from the surround with DVD's because they are MADE to use all the channels (particularly the rear ones). The rear usually providee the background sounds-not the conversations, but the sound of the person walking across the carpet. Cable TV is NOT mastered for surround, so you will not get all your system involved. But if you have good speakers, it will still sound good.
Q: I am a software engineer. I work at my home computer. I have a separate work place in my home. Now I want also a music system for my computer. But I can not set it up to my work place. It have to be on the main entertainment area of my home. I can not place my computer in the main entertainment area of my home. Then what should I do? Can you give me any idea to solve this problem?
A: A software engineer that Doesn't know how to connect his PC audio and video out to his entertainment system? What's wrong with this picture? Let me know what software it is that you engineer so I don't buy it.
Q: I mean small as in 40 max number of guests. Other than dancing what else is there that one could do for entertainment? I'm still contemplating on having a wedding or not. It will be in a year and a half but I know time is important for planning and what not.

Q: If you have a positive worldview what kind of entertainment do you enjoy? Does having a more misanthropic view change what you appreciate? Do you use entertainment or art as an escape?
A: I have no world view.I find equal parts of midori and coconut rum with a splash of pineapple juice over the rocks as a good escape myself.
